Lestel G. Balser Jr. "LG" age 66 of Elkhart, Indiana died on October 17, 2018 at 7:10 PM.  He was born on July 17, 1952 to Lestel and Joretta in Ward, West Virginia.  Les worked as an engineer for many years in the manufactured housing industry starting at New Yorker and retiring from Clayton Homes. He was known for his sharp sense of humor and generous smile. He loved golfing, snow skiing and photography but most of all he loved the association with his spiritual brothers and sisters.  Les was a faithful witness of Jehovah and loving father of two daughters and two granddaughters. They survive along with his sister Leigh (Mike) Spain of Elyria, Ohio, brothers David (Renata) Balser of Elkhart, IN and Jim (Marie Reiner) Balser along with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Lestel was preceded in death by father Lestel G. Balser, Sr., mother Joretta O. (Maynor) Balser and brother Auburn "Sonny" Balser.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 12-2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561.  A funeral service in Lestel's honor will be held at 2 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
