Lillian Tressie Perry, 88, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on July 18, 2022. She was born on April 20, 1934 to the late John and Ethel Short in Buffalo, WV. Lillian loved attending church, being outside, and playing on her computer. Her family meant the world to her and being around them brought her so much joy in life.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Rhodes; second husband, Howard Perry; son, Todd Rhodes; brothers, Bobby Short, Burl Short, and Seldon Short; sisters, Nellie Critchfield, Kathleen Priddy, and Janet Farren.

Lillian is survived by her children, Daymond Rhodes, Joyce Stutz, Boyd Rhodes, Todd (Vickie) Rhodes, and Sheila Rhodes; sisters, Caralyn Pernell, Dorthy Martin, Sharon Igo, Faye Lewis, Judy Chestnut, and Nancy White; brother, Ralph Short; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services are Friday July 29, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.  Visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 with the service at 1:00.  Burial immediate following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
