Linda L. Campbell, 73, of Mishawaka, died Monday January 15, 2018. The South Bend native was born January 22, 1944 to Jasper E. & Nancy (Holt) Oppy. Always known as a very giving woman, she was a member of the former First Apostolic Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling and the time spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Steven Campbell, Emily Rose Smith and Henry Thomas Arndt; her great-granddaughter, Jaycey Lucas and her sister, Lorena Oppy Williams. Linda is survived by her children, Peggy (Timothy) Arndt of Syracuse, Polly Brown of Mishawaka, David Lee Campbell of Jacksonville TN and Gary Campbell of Mishawaka; her nieces, Penny (Gregg) Majcherek of Apache Junction AZ and Rena (Curtis) LaBeau of Elkhart; nephew, Tony (Karen) Williams of Elkhart; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
