Linda Lou Dixon, age 64, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Elkhart General Hospital after a long illness. Linda was born June 10, 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Charles E. and Donna J. (Pittman) Baker. She graduated from Penn High School in 1965. On November 16, 1985, Linda married Ken Dixon in Elkhart, Indiana.
Surviving is her husband Ken Dixon of Elkhart, and her two children; Kevin Pinkerton and Tracy Perhne, both of Elkhart. Surviving as well is her mother, Donna J. Baker of Elkhart, and her brothers Ron (Sherry) Baker of Mishawaka, and Randy (Kathy) Baker of Osceola. Linda is also survived by her grandchildren, Kirsten, Jeff, and Austin. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Baker in 1991.
Friends may call 3 hours prior to the 6:00 pm funeral service on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Linda was employed over 20 years in the offices of Bayer in Elkhart. She enjoyed camping with her family, and had always dreamed of traveling West. She enjoyed watching game shows in her spare time.
