ELKHART -Linda L. Smith, 68, passed away early Monday evening, November 6, 2017 in Elkhart, Indiana. Linda was born to the late Robert and Vivian (Freshour) Hartman in Elkhart, Indiana on April 27, 1949.
Linda and her husband, Jeffery, celebrated 37 years of marriage on August 16, 2017. She loved to fish and go on camping trips with her husband at Twin Mills just outside of Howe, IN. Linda had a heart of gold and was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; son, Steve Hartman; brother, Robert (Scydell) Hartman, Jr.; sister, Marcia Chupp, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Todd Jeffery Smith.
Visitation for Linda will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, November 10, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 am with family receiving friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
