Linda Dorothy (Frauli) Hershberger, 79, of Mishawaka, IN passed away on November 28, 2021 in Mishawaka.  She was born to the late Lawrence Hubert Frauli and Dorothy A. (Harlan) Potts on August 22, 1942 in Olney, IL.  She married the love of her life Harold Rex Hershberger on June 28, 1964. He survives, along with sister Katy Frauli of Grovetown, GA, brother Toni (Linda) Frauli of Laconia, IN, half-sister Sara Simmons and half-brother Kenny Frauli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Ray and Roger Frauli.

Linda was part of the first graduating class of Penn High School in 1960. She received a BS in Elementary Education from IUSB in 1972, later earning her Masters. She taught 2 nd and 3 rd grade at Walt Disney Elementary, later teaching 1 st grade at Bittersweet Elementary. Linda also helped form an educational company, N'Lightning Software, with other educators in the early 1980s. She also taught computers in adult continuing education at Penn and worked at Super Kids Camp.

Linda listened with loving ears and gave wise counsel, with the caveat "don't ask if you don't want to hear it." She collected bells, Nativity sets, and loved jigsaw puzzles. The family teased her by starting a puzzle and leaving it on the table. She couldn't resist sitting down to finish it! She also loved annual Christmas cookie bakes with family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rex; her children, Steve (Kim), Mike (Audra), and Chris (Laura); grandchildren AJ (Jackie), Ryan (Jennifer) and Travis Fraser, Jay, Alex, Tony (Kaylee) and Nick Hershberger, Tiffany (Chad) Jones, Justin Avirom, and Taylor (Jackie) Lee; great-grandchildren Molly, Kyle, Catherine, Sebastian, Sunny Rose and Iden.

Services for Linda will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. Friends may visit on Tuesday evening December 7, 2021 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's memory to Heart to Heart Hospice Care.
