Lois Marie Darby 91, of Elkhart, IN passed away on January 10, 2022 in Elkhart.  She was born to the late John L. and Mary M. (Chambers) Blackwood on October 25, 1930 in Cherry Valley, Arkansas.

She loved spending time with her family and sewing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Grace Baptist Church in Elkhart for many years.

Lois is survived by her 3 sons, Don (Connie) Stephens, Ronald Wolffen and Kenneth Stephens; her daughter, Harriet (Bernard) Hartman; her brother, Jim Blackwood; several nieces and nephews, also many grandchild and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Stephens; 3 brothers, Ray, Troy and Bill Blackwood; her sister, Ruth Heathcock.

Services for Lois will be Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 2pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.    Friends may visit from 1PM until the time of service.  Memorial donations made in Lois' memory may be made to donor's choice of charity.  Chapel Hill is honored to care for the Darby Family.
