Lois May Nay, 85 of Mishawaka, passed away on March 23, 2015. She was born on March 28, 1929 in Mishawaka and was one of six girls born to Walter & Josephine (Godfrey) Zimmerman. For 57 years she was married to Gerald F. Nay, who preceded her in death. Lois was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mary Rowe, Marjorie Whitney and Carol Hazlip. In February of 2012, Lois married Wayne Atkins, who survives; Wayne helped fulfill her final years. She was a lifelong member of the Apostolic Temple Church, where her father was once the head elder. Lois loved to travel, and enjoyed sewing, cooking and good food. Lois is also survived by her daughter, Cindy Nay of Mishawaka; granddaughter Amber (Michael) Cummins of Mishawaka; two great grandchildren, Micah & Molly; two sisters, Joan Williams of Indianapolis, Esther Watkins of South Bend and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services 10:00 Thursday March 26, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8pm in the funeral home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
