IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lola Fay
Boyle
November 6, 1946 – June 29, 2024
Lola Fay (King) Boyle, 77, passed away on Saturday June 29, 2024 in South Bend, Indiana. She was born on November 6, 1946 in Selmer, TN to Virgil Carl and Lemmie Othella (Brown) King.
Lola was a kind, loving woman who put everyone else before herself. She is survived by her children: Belinda Kay (Bob) Rupholdt, James Robert Michael "Jimmy" (Maria) Boyle, Lola "Bunny" Shavonne Beasley, Heather Renee (Don) Magee; her grandchildren, Ryan Rupholdt and Isaac and Arianna McLean; a step-son, Robert (Toni) Nelson; a brother, Junior Edward King; and two sisters, Linda Sue Miller and Judy Carol Brigman.
She was preceded in death by several siblings: Betty Ann King, James Carl King, Thomas Ray King, Nancy Maria Jackson, Ricky Lynn King and Larry Gene King.
Lola spent her time painting by number, doing puzzles and thrifting at yard sales. Most of the time, she couldn't sit still and liked to re-organize and redecorate for people. She enjoyed gardening and spending time outside helping her family with their yard. When she did slow down, she could be found watching episodes of Naked & Afraid, Expedition Unknown and the Curse of Oak Island.
Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. She had a strong work ethic and worked hard to raise and care for her children. She was determined, strong-willed and never gave up. She was never afraid- even at the end.
