Lora Beth Galicia, Mishawaka, passed away on the late afternoon of Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was 61. Lora was born February 9, 1961 in Mishawaka, a daughter of the late Donald Eugene and Anna Mae (Kronewitter) Widup. Lora attended Penn High School, and was a member of the graduating Class of 1979. She had been employed with St. Paul's Retirement Community for many years until her health required her to step away. Lora enjoyed listening to classic rock music and attending live shows, especially those of Aerosmith, Def Leppard, and Fleetwood Mac. She was an avid bookworm as well, and could often be found lost in the pages of a Stephen King novel. Painting ceramics was an important creative outlet for Lora, but most importantly, it was a cherished way for her to bond with her mother and friends. She was an excellent cook and baker, and will be remembered for the delicious meals and treats she prepared for loved ones. Lora is survived by her husband, Benjamin Galicia; her children, Elizabeth Ann Galicia-Pigg and her husband Brian and Benjamin J. Galicia and his partner, Samantha Balentine.
