Loren Eugene Maier 83, of Elkhart, IN passed away on January 22, 2022 in Elkhart.  He was born to the late Lawrence Clem and Marjorie Virginia (Hartley) Maier on August 9, 1938 in South Bend, IN.  He married Susan (Huffman) Maier, she survives.

Loren enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a member of the Victory Chapel General Baptist Church in Elkhart.  He liked to go fishing and bowling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Kovach.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue; his son, Roger (Barb) Maier; daughter Neveah Morrison; 2 sisters, Katherine Daggy and Jo Ann Hentz, 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 1PM at Victory Chapel 30898 Co. Rd. 20 Elkhart, IN 46517.  Chapel Hill is honored to care for the Maier Family.
