MISHAWAKA- Loretta Brown 95 passed away Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born to Samuel and Edith Nellie (Shank) Jefferies in Mishawaka IN. She graduated with the class of 1938 Mishawaka High School. Loretta married Arthur E. Brown October 13, 1940 in the Willow Creek Methodist Church together they would raise two children. Loretta enjoyed baking and sewing. She was very active in the church she made many of the floral displays for the church. Loretta enjoyed community events and traveling. Her greatest love of all was her children and grandchildren. She is survived by daughter L. Suzanne (Terry)Miltenberger-Mishawaka, son Craig D. (Susan)Brown-Paducah Ky. Four grandchildren, Lori (Kurt) Zeiler, Wendy Hayes, Mark Brown, Megan Brown three great-grandchildren Matthew Zeiler, Micheal Zeiler and Katharine Winings and two great-great grandchildren Lilly and Lylah Zeiler. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and siblings,Joan(William)Paldino,Jim(Frances)Jefferies,D.John(Darlene)Jefferies,Lenomi (Bill) Clardy and Sandra(John)Lohman There will be a gathering of friends and family Tuesday May 3,2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN from 4:00-7:00pm with a funeral service immediately starting at 7:00pm with Pastor Gail Mckee officiating a private burial will be at a later date.
