Louise Lutz, 98, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Biloxi, MS. Louise was born in Platte, SD, on March 6, 1915, and was a former resident of Mishawaka and South Bend before moving to be near her daughters in 2000. Although widowed for 30 years, she was active and independent, enjoyed her daily walks, getting caught in the rain, reading (without glasses!) and travelling. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lutz, and daughter, Donna Bailey, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Ray) Andrews in Coolidge, Arizona, and Diane (Tom) Henson in Biloxi, Mississippi; sisters, Betty Beck in Fort Wayne and Anne Ewing in Sioux City, IA; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 10-11 am Monday, June 24, 2013, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Graveside services to follow at 11:00 Monday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
