Elkhart-Lucille Clark, 88 passed away at Hubbard Hill Estates, Friday in the afternoon. She was born to Bert & Zelma(James)Cook in Jimtown, Indiana. Lucille was a graduate of Jimtown, class of 1945 and resided her whole life in the Michiana area. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Jimtown for many years, during that time she sang in the choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women's group. She enjoyed going out with the CTS breakfast club, bowling, loved pinochle and her euchre club. One of her specialties in life was fishing with a good old cane pole. Lucille enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her classmates of 1945. She was also the proud mother of twins and also loved her children and grandchildren. Lucille had been employed by the Baugo Community Schools for many years as a secretary in many positions. Lucille married Marquis R. Clark on February 20, 1947 and together they raised six children, sons, Gregory(Melanie), Bruce, Brice(Tonita) and Jeffery(Rhonda), daughters, Marcia and Marta. She is also survived by brothers Gary(Marcia)Cook, Jerry(Carolyn)Cook, sister, Nila(Lawrence)Young, Janice Bender, brother in law, Dennis Wirt, sister in laws, Betty Jane Hillring, Evelyn Clark, Sandra Wolf, Irene Cook, eleven grandchildren and seventeen, great- grandchildren, and Emma Sheets, two great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Geneva Cook, twin sister, Lillian(Leonard) Beehler, Mary Miller,Rita Wirt, brother,Dale Cook and grandson, Derek Clark. A gathering of friends and family will be at United Methodist Church, 59218 County Road 3, Elkhart, Indiana 46517 Friday, January 1,2016 from 1:00pm -6:00 pm. A funeral service will follow Saturday, January 2,2016 at 10:00 am with a one hour prior calling with Pastor Steve Loft officiating at the Church. There will be a private interment at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
