Madeline T. Bogart, age 81, of South Bend, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home. Madeline was born July 18, 1931 to Mike and Barb (Bertzet) Assid in New Castle, PA.

Surviving is her daughter, Iris Alred of Baily, Colorado and her granddaughters, Melissa Marquart and Jennifer Reed. She also had one great granddaughter on the way. Madeline is also survived by her sister, Rose Eastin. She was preceded in death by her siblings and her daughter Rebecca Bogart in 2006.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 12:00pm funeral service on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Madeline worked for many years as a waitress in the area, and had attended Holy Trinity Church for several years. In her memory, donations may be made to the Center for the Homeless
