Madge Rose Woolet, 80, of Osceola, passed away at 10:45 pm, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in Valley View Health Care Center, Elkhart. Madge was born on October 23, 1931 in Mishawaka, the daughter of the late Claude and Rose (Barnes) Widup. On May 23, 1953, she married Ralph E. Woolet. He passed away on August 16, 2010. She is also preceded in death by sister, Mary Germann and brother, Gerald Widup.
Madge is survived by two sons, Mike Woolet of Keizer, OR and Brian Woolet of Plymouth; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Ronald (Joan) Widup of Jackson, GA and Dean (Darlene) Widup of Osceola and three sisters, Nancy (John) Dreiblebis of Lakeville, Betty (John) Goodman of South Bend and Sue (Clyde) Mims of Platteville, AL
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Friday, November 11, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the funeral home with visitation from 9:00-10:00 am. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
