Manuel "Manny" Silva Jr., 82, of South Bend, entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2021. He was born on December 28, 1938 in La Feria, Texas. Manny enjoyed playing golf, working on race cars, fishing, trips to the casino, playing cards, and loved being outdoors. He served in the Army for 22 years and was a proud member of the American Legion Post 357. Manny was a Master Sergeant for the Army and he was the Director of Materials Management at Memorial Hospital after retirement.

Manny was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Sr. and Guadalupe Silvas; brothers, Joseph, Alvin, and Guadalupe.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Silva; children, Lori (James) Bloodgood, Toni (Dennis) Tribbey, Wade (Patty) Silva, Quincanon (Dawn) Silva, Greg (Jennie) Szarwark and Geof (Deb) Szarwark; sisters, Rachel and Oralia; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. Services have been entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
