Margaret "Glee" Brown, age 78, of Bristol, passed away at her home on May 29, 2012. Glee was born Jan. 12, 1934 to the late Leonard and Margaret Elizabeth (Warren) Davis. On June 15, 1952, she married Marvin L. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1983.
Surviving are her daughters, Marcie (Jim) Wogoman of Bristol, Denise (Jerry) Roberts, and Glee Nadine Workman, both of Elkhart. Also surviving are her brothers George and Keith Davis, and her sister Rebecca Dawman. Surviving as well are her grandchildren, Marva Taylor, Christie Harker, Nicole Roberts and Corey Roberts, and great grandchildren Gary Taylor, Tyler Taylor, Bridget Aistrop, Trevor Taylor, and Blake Wogoman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Davis Jr.
Glee was employed for many years at Statewide Aluminum and Ramco in Elkhart before her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting and genealogy.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 11 am funeral service on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
