Margaret Rose Hullinger, 90, of South Bend, died on August 15, 2018.  She was born on January 27, 1928 to Marvin and Elizabeth (Hodgson) Jewett in Toledo, Ohio.  On June 16, 1946, Margaret married Edward Hullinger.  He preceded her in death on March 28, 1987.  She and her husband owned National Auto Parts for many years.  She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in South Bend and enjoyed gardening.  Margaret is survived by her children, Jim (Jenny) Hullinger, Kristine Hullinger, both of South Bend, Karen Passarelli (Patrick) Krause of Las Vegas, and Bryan (Ruby) Beals of Elkhart; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; her daughter, Kathryn; and granddaughter, Sarah Hullinger.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 226 North Hill Street, South Bend, IN  46617 at 1 PM.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
