Margaret Ann Jones, age 80, of Elkhart, departed this life on Monday Jan. 26, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse Jones and Jessie
Mae Jones (Clark), born on June 16, 1934 in Marie, AR.
They later moved to Portageville, MO with her two sisters;
Shelvia Jean Jones and Bernice Marie Jones, who preceded her death.

On June, 15 1948 Margaret Ann Jones was united in Holy Matrimony
to Ellis Grays. This union blessed them with six sons;
Elmer Joe (Genavive) Grays, who preceded her in death Ellis (Helen) Grays,
John Allen (Diane proceeded in death) Grays, Charles Edward (Elizabeth) Grays,
Earl Lavern (Ruby) Grays, and Michael (Mary) Grays, as well as two daughters, Margaret Ann House, and Linda Marie (Lamar) Jefferson. Surviving as well are 20 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Margaret professed her hope in Christ at an early age. She united with New Salem
Missionary Baptist Church, Portageville, MO, under the leadership of the late
Rev. Fraizer and then became a member of Community Baptist Church after
moving to Elkhart Indiana. Margaret was employed at Home Crest for 17 years and retired in 1989.

Margaret or "Maggie" as her family and friends often call her loved the Lord and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart, spoiling her cat Tiger, and dancing with her sons.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 1:00 pm funeral service on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
