Margaret M. Schaubert, 86, of Mishawaka, died on September 17, 2018.  She was born January 3, 1932 in Remsen, Iowa to John B. and Josephine (Ernster) Mayrose.  On November 17, 1951, Margaret married Russell E. Schaubert.  He preceded her in death on December 30, 2000.  Margaret worked as a receptionist in different medical offices in the area for over 20 years.  She attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church and participated in many of the women's clubs and activities including the Widows Club.  Margaret enjoyed reading, knitting, and playing with her grandchildren.  She is survived by her son, Daniel (Rhonda) Schaubert of Edwardsburg, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; son, Robert; and daughter, Patty.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544 with a time of visitation one hour prior to the Mass.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
