Osceola, IN — Marian Florence Arthus, 95, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at Creekside Village with loving family by her side.

Marian was born on March 9, 1931, in Queens, New York. She met her husband, Napoleon Arthus, and they were married in Queens, New York. Together, they built a loving home and raised their eight children.

Marian was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her life, and she cherished the many memories they made together throughout the years. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, caring nature, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.

A follower of the Catholic faith, Marian found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought her happiness, especially cooking for her family, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with her beloved cats especially her favorite Riley.

Marian is survived by seven of her children, Susan Leeman (William) ; Olga (Bob) Souto; Napoleon (Paula) Arthus; George (Anne) Arthus; Rock (Laura) Arthus; Frank Arthus; and Mark (Karen)Arthus; late son Gerard, her 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren including her beloved Tyler.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many people whose lives she touched.
