Marie Paul Hirstein, 92, of Elkhart passed away at 8:30 am, Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Elkhart Rehabilitation Center. Marie was born on May 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Paul David and Irene Louise (Chartier) Arseneau. She is also preceded in death by two sons, Edward Collins III, Dennis Boyd, three sisters, Dorothy Drake, Vernene Blake, and Lillian Butler and three brothers, Elwood, Flavian, and Everett Arseneau.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Carter of Elkhart; grandsons, Christopher (Vikki) Marker and Burton Boyd and great grandson, Christopher Marker, Jr.
Some of her favorite hobbies included bowling, gardening and enjoying the outdoors. She loved to read the bible.
There will be no visitation or service for Marie. Entombment of her ashes will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
