Obituary

Marilyn Kay Bowser, age 72, of Elkhart, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Marilyn was born September 15, 1938 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Carl and Luta (Kunkle) Bryant. Marilyn graduated from Elkhart High School in 1956, and married Henry David Bowser in Middlebury, Indiana on March 2, 1959. Mr. Bowser preceded her in death, passing away October 24, 2003.
Surviving is her son, Wade H. Bowser of Elkhart, Indiana, and her step-children Barry Bowser and Jerry Bowser, both of Yuma, Michigan, Janice Donley and Billie Dohse, both of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amanda Bowser of Chicago, Illinois, and Aaron (Katherine) Bowser of South Bend, Indiana, along with their mother, Anna Bowser, and her great granddaughter, Hailey Bowser. Marilyn is survived as well by her brother David Bryant and her sisters Dianne Chupp and Barbara Yoder, all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her brother Phillip R. Bryant.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 1:00 pm funeral service on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
Marilyn was employed for 42 years by the CTS Corporation in Elkhart before retiring in 1999. She was very family oriented and loved working in her flower gardens. Marilyn also enjoyed nature and wildlife, and was especially fond of animals. She leaves behind as well her beloved dog, Abby.
