Marilyn Campbell, 87, passed on the evening of February 8th, 2025, peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Marilyn was a woman of faith, strength, and dignity who valued and loved her family and friends deeply. When you saw Marilyn, you could count on being greeted with a genuine smile, an infectious laugh, or a cozy hug. She was known for her heartfelt notes, honest conversations, fresh baked cookies, and sticky rolls. She was always available and supportive of her family. Many memories were created of family gatherings, houseboat vacations, boating afternoons, and sporting events, she could be counted on to be there. Marilyn had a mischievous side that made family gatherings fun.

Marilyn loved being outdoors, gardening, the moonlight, walks in the woods, chocolate milkshakes, and annual trips to Maine to enjoy the coastline, lighthouses, and seafood.  She was the church secretary and director of Bethlehem Revisited for several years at Harris Prairie Church of Christ.

We will carry her in our hearts and look forward to seeing her whole again one day.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Campbell, her siblings, Robert Tolley, Paul Tolley, Ginny Tolley, Howard Tolley, and Barbie Dillman.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 70 years, Darrell Campbell, her sons Theodore Campbell, Allan Campbell, her daughter Wanda Campbell-Stutsman, and six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Her surviving siblings are Margie Ridgeway, Skipper Tolley, Darrell Tolley, and Susannah Tolley McCurdy.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for Sunday, March 2nd, at 10am, at the White Pigeon Church of Christ, located at 70428 S. Kalamazoo St., White Pigeon MI 49099. In lieu of flowers please send a donation in Marilyn's name to the White Pigeon Church of Christ.
