Marjorie E. Brewer, 76 of Elkhart, passed away in her home at 3:50 am, Thursday, October 15, 2009 surrounded by family. Marjorie was born on August 14, 1933 in Lockhaven, PA to the late John E. and Caroline (Rhone) Fiedler. On October 8, 1954, she married Frederick A. Brewer in Jersey Shore, PA. He passed away on September 19, 2003.
Marjorie had worked for L.E. Johnson for many years before her retirement. She will be remembered for her kindness and her love of cats.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Brewer of Elkhart and Gary (Suzy) Brewer of Bristol; three grandchildren, Natasha Cain, Jeannie Haverstock, and Tony Timmerman. and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Carol) Fiedler of Jersey Shore, PA and Alvin (Nora) Fiedler of Nashville, TN and two sisters, Dorothy (Dean) Myers of Lockhaven, PA and Grace Bennett of Jersey Shore, PA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Rev. Robert Vale will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
