MISHAWAKA - Marjorie F. Brown, 87 , passed away Tuesday, May 2 9 , 2018 in Mishawaka. Marjorie was born Dec 2 , 19 30 to the late Ross & Minnie Sisson in Erie, PA . Marjorie was wed to Ernest Brown on Oct 6, 1956. Together, Ernest & Marjorie celebrated 61 years of marriage until his passing on May 22 nd of this year . Like her husband, Marjorie loved travel ing to Fort Meade, FL, helping organiz e all of the Brown family reunions, & keeping the family up-to-date with the latest genealogy information . Also a past member of the Church of Christ in Mishawaka, she taught children's bible study for many years & loved to share her faith with the youth. She was known as " mo m" & "grandma" to all. She was a very gracious hostess, wonderful cook, & especially loved to bake. Her family has peace knowing that she and Ernie are united once again. Marjorie is survived by her d aughter, Nancy Haywoo d; son, Michael (Debbie) Brown; g randchildren , Amanda (Nathan) Haywood-Barbee & Austin Haywood; nieces, Sandy Clark, Donna Burke, Roberta Porter, & Kathleen Kraner, and nephew, Raymond Sisson . In addition to h er parents and loving husband , Mr s . Brown was preceded in death by h er son-in-law, Jim Haywood; brother, Roland Sisson; sister , Millicent Phillips , and nephew, Ross Sisson . Visitation for M arjorie will be held Mon , June 4 th from 5 pm – 8 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN. Funeral service for Mr s . Brown will be at 2 pm, Tues , June 5 th at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior and Steve Smith presiding.
