Marjorie M. Gesto, 67, of New Carlisle, died Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The Muskegon MI native was born March 4, 1950 to Harold C. & Pearl (Yeager) Lewis. She was well known for her cooking skills and enjoyed cooking for family & friends. An avid Notre Dame football fan, she also enjoyed caring for her dog, "Princess". Marjorie is survived by her husband, Stanley S. Gesto; son, Terry (Yvonne Lindiere) Hanyzewski of South Bend; daughter, Shirley (Phillip) Crutcher of Green Cove Springs FL; step-daughter, Laura (Duane) Krauter of Mishawaka; brother, Harold C.(Fran) Lewis, Jr. of Lakewood MI; grandchildren, Katie & Sean Sedwick and Tarra & Morgan Crutcher, all of Jacksonville FL; step-grandchildren, Peggy & Drew Krauter, both of Mishawaka and 3 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry E. & David Lewis and her sister, Shirley Tiefenthal. Committal Services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 10865 Jefferson Road.
