Marjorie V. Stafford, 85, of South Bend, passed away at 6:40 pm, Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. Marjorie was born on February 9, 1924 in Edwardsburg, MI to the late Elmer and Bernice (Perrin) Niver.
She is survived by her three sons, Bob (Bernice) Stafford of Granger, Bill (Barb) Stafford of Osceola, Randy (Murry) Stafford of Osceola and one daughter, Joyce Rogers of Mishawaka. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Joyce''s son, Sgt. First Class John Rogers, Jr, U.S. Army, his wife Mison and Bob''s son, Matt and three great grandchildren, John''s two sons, Jonathan and Joel and Bill''s granddaughter, Tyler Marie.
Her loving husband has been gone for 23 years, may they now rest together forever until we join them. Marjorie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was our Mom. We miss them dearly and are proud to be their family. A greater pair of loving parents never lived.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, April 16, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
