Marjorie V. White, 90, of Mishawaka, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 13, 1928 in Florence, Alabama to Floyd and Lina (Butler) Norred. On May 18, 1946, Marjorie married Estol White and he preceded her in death in 1998. Marjorie enjoyed puzzle books, game shows, and country music and worked as a caregiver to the elderly. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and all of her grandchildren. The family would like to thank The Center for Hospice for all of the love and exceptional care they gave to Marjorie and her family. Marjorie is survived by her children, Charles (Debbie) White of Walkerton and Sandra (Rich) Squint of Mishawaka; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Floyd Norred, Jr. of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Estol; two sons, Alford and Kevin White; two brothers, Earl Norred and William Carroll Norred; four sisters, Agnes Geans, Dexter Malone, June Cossey, Earline Heavener; and a great-granddaughter, Dawn Marie White. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 from 12 Noon – 2 PM with a funeral in Marjorie's honor beginning at 2 PM. Entombment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum of the Good Shepherd.
