Martha Ann Karst, 100, of Mishawaka passed away on November 28, 2020 in Granger.  She was born on September 10, 1920 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Charles Elton and Anna Josephine (Yager) Crum.  She married Charles E. Karst on December 24, 1944.  He preceded her in death on October 16, 1987, after 43 years of marriage.

Mrs. Karst is survived by her daughters: Gail (Jan) Whitehead of Goshen, IN, Lori (Allen) Kardell of Osceola, IN and Marilou (Charles) Gilman of Eagle River, WI; 6 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Anna J. (Yager) Crum; and her siblings: Helen Bickel, Russel Crum, Harry Crum, Margaret Trenner and Charles Crum.

She retired in 1985, after 21 years working for School City of Mishawaka as a secretary for Twin Branch School.

She was a faithful member of St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, until it's closing in April of 2015.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
