Martha L. Winslow, 88, of Cassopolis, passed away Wednesday morning at her residence with family at her side, following an extended illness. She was born February 23, 1927 to Levi & Susie (Herschberger) Hershberger in Buffalo, New York. Martha had lived in Cassopolis since 1988; she was a member of the Mason Township Baptist Church and attended Pacesetters Sunday School Group at Winding Waters Brethren Church. Martha was a person who loved everyone she met and was available to help anyone in need. She enjoyed nothing better than playing rummy with her grandchildren; and feeding birds & watching them was a favorite pastime. Last week was a very special birthday celebration for Martha and she received over forty birthday cards. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jency, Clarence, Eli, Roy, and Lee. Additionally, Eli''s wife Harriett, who was Martha''s very best friend, had also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie (Mark) Estep; her grandchildren, Joshua Estep, Jessica (Derrick) Dickison and Melissa (Destry) Brown; great-grandchildren, Pierce & Sydney. Martha is also survived by brothers, Roman (Florence) Hershberger of Goshen, Floyd (Barbara) Hershberger of Tucson AZ. and sister in-law Joan Hershberger. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday March 7, 2015 in Mason Township Baptist Church, 20109 Mason Street, Cassopolis MI, 49031; Funeral Services follow at 1:00pm, with Pastor Dewayne Wilson & Pastor Jeff Estep officiating.
