Martha R. Wittling, 84, of South Bend, died Sunday October 4, 2015. The New Holland OH native was born February 1, 1931 to Steven & Sarah Jimmy (Clutter) Sheridan. Martha was a fan of Notre Dame Football; she enjoyed bird watching and caring for her dogs, Rocky & Puppy. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Wittling; her daughter, Georgene; her grandson, Ronald Ciesielski and her brother, Loren Sheridan. Martha is survived by her children, Paul (Donna) Riley of Jeffersonville OH and Gisele (Mark) Waite, Jeanine Nolan, Gregory Wittling, Bernadette (Paul Vitale) Wittling & Roberta (Daniel) Biggs, all of South Bend; her sister, Pauline Pierce in Ohio; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
