Mary Hautense Borders, 93, formerly of South Bend, passed away Friday July 28, 2017 at Clarewood House Extended Care Center in Houston, Texas. Mary and her mother were lifelong members of Pilgrim Baptist Church in South Bend. She leaves behind 5 children; Teri J. (Joyner) Baird, Constance A. (Joyner) Hurwick, Jonita (Jones) Jenkins, Donald A. Jones and John A. Jones, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews & friends. A remembrance service to honor Mary''s life will be held at 2:00 Monday August 7, 2017 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. where the family will receive friends from 1-2pm.
