Mary Ellen Cramer Jan. 1, 1923 - June 26, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Mary Ellen Cramer, age 91, of South Bend, passed away at 4:00 am Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Healthwin Specialized Care in South Bend. Mary was born January 1, 1923 to the late James and Dorothy (Staller) Cunningham in St. Joseph County, Indiana. On July 15, 1945, she married Everett Cramer. They had been members of Elkhart Grace Baptist Church in Elkhart for several years. Everett preceded Mary in death, passing away April 8, 2013. Surviving are her children, Dennis Cramer of Elkhart, and Carol (Jon) Arnold of South Bend and her siblings, James (Juanita) Cunningham of Mishawaka and Martha Powell of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jennifer Cunningham, Alice Chrisman and Ruth Price. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family at holiday dinners, camping, and was involved with her children's Cub Scout and Campfire Girls groups for many years. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens.
