Obituary

Mary L. Forrest, 81, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Eastlake Terrace in Elkhart. The Goshen native was born April 1, 1931 to Paul and Martha (Hieber) Hutchison; both preceded Mary in death. She married Leo W. Forrest on September 2, 1949. Mary retired from Best Formed Plastics and was formerly the head cook at Baugo Community Schools. She was an avid bowler and treasured time spent with family. She especially enjoyed babysitting the children. Mary is survived by Leo, her husband of 63 years; her sons, Michael (Darci) Forrest of Middlebury and Patrick (Donna) Forrest of Elkhart; grandchildren, Mathew (Amy) Hostetler of Edwardsburg, Christopher (Tarra) Forrest of Fort Wayne, Ryan (Amber) Forrest of Columbia SC, Angela (Jeff) Vanlandingham of Altus OK, Mary Forrest of Elkhart Emily (Zach) Kline of Constantine MI and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Hawkins of Sun City AZ, Pauline (Lee) Hawkins of Elkhart, Norma (Ron) Koch of Martinsville, Barbara (Mart) Osborn of Union MI, Vonda Bell of Elkhart and Patricia (Mike) Wood of Brea CA; brothers, Harold (Nancy) Hutchison of Millersburg and Robert (Peggy) Hutchison of Okeechobee FL. Funeral Services 11:00 Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Friday 4-8pm at the funeral home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorials are the American Diabetes Association, 8604 Allisonville Road, Suite 140, Indianapolis IN 46250 or Harbor Light Hospice, 1608 E. Day Road, Mishawaka IN 46545.
