Obituary

Mary Velma Garber, 69, of Bristol, passed away at 8:15 am, Friday, May 29, 2009 in her home surrounded by family. Mary was born on September 30, 1939 in Chicago to the late Ernest and Mary Elizabeth (Groves) North, Sr.
On July 2, 1960 in Chicago, she married Ralph C. Garber. He survives, along with three children, Kurt (Gloria) Garber of Gurnee, IL, Christopher Garber of Bristol, and Gayle (Jerry) Mora of New Port Ritchey, FL, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Bessie "Tootsie" Goodison and Wanda Miles, both of Elkhart. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Ernest, Jr., Donald, and Eddie North.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Mary Velma was a member of the Bristol United Methodist Church, where she was very active.
