Mary Jane Hughes, 68, of Elkhart, passed away at 12:15 pm, Sunday, July 22, 2012 in her home surrounded by family. Mary was born on February 17, 1944 in Goshen, the daughter of the late Levi and Wanetta (Vickers) Leak. On November 26, 1962 she married Ron Hughes.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ron; son Timothy (Jaime) Hughes, grandchildren, Wesley and Tyler Clanton and great grandchild, Colton Clanton. She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn (Art) Smoot of Elkhart and a brother, Albert (Mary) Leak of Edwardsburg.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
