Mary Edith Krakowski, 89, of South Bend, died on February 17, 2019 at home.  She was born on June 10, 1929 in Atlanta, Missouri to Frank and Bernice (Carter) Crosby.  On December 3, 1960, Mary married Richard Krakowski and he preceded her in death in 2007.  Mary worked for many years as a meat wrapper, having worked at A&P, Wilts, Kmart Foods, and Country Market before her retirement.  She attended Northway Church of Christ and enjoyed bird watching, being in nature, and circle word puzzles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 47 years, Richard.  In accordance with Mary's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
