Mary Ann (Arnold) Overmyer, went to her Heavenly home on July 23, 2022.  Mary Ann was born to Robert and Edna Arnold in Illinois on November 17, 1933.  She resided in South Bend, Indiana, where she married Wilmer Christian and they had 5 children.

The children that are left to remember her are: Thomas H. Christian, John J. Christian, Belinda Christian, Wilmer H. Christian, Jr. and Anne Marie (Daniel L.) Marsh. Her grandchildren are Thomas H. Christian, Jr., Scottie H. Christian, Joshua J. Christian, Stephanie A. Doolittle, Carmen M. (Rowe) Mowrey, Amy Jean and Timothy L. Miko.  Her step-grandchildren are Alexandria R. Carpenter and Gunner S. Marsh.  She also had numerous great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann enjoyed walking, working in her yard and being active in volunteering with the Church.  She was very proud of her work in Patient Accounts at the Elkhart Clinic, where she worked for 22 years.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7

A Celebration of Life will take place at Grace United Methodist Church on Friday July 29, 2022 at 2 PM.  Pastor David Schrader will officiate.

Chapel Hill Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements.
