Mary Elizabeth Farley, age 78 of Elkhart, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Elkhart. Mary was born Mar. 9, 1935 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late James and Uraina (Quinn) Taylor. In May of 1981, she married Ray Farley.
Ray survives, along with her children, E. Carl Ashbury of Elkhart, Erma Gibson of Ripley, West Virginia, and Elizabeth Hurt of Chicago, Illinois. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mary was employed with the laundry service at Elkhart General Hospital for over 25 years before she retired. She enjoyed gardening spending time outdoors and was particularly fond of the roses she grew in her flower garden.
