OSCEOLA-Mary Lou Ragsdale 85 passed away Monday at St. Lukes Hospital in Sugarland, Texas with her family by her side. Mary was born to Paul and Nellie Porter in Foreman, Il.
On July 9,1947 she married the love of her life Gilbert, he and her parents would precede Mary in death. Mary spent the winter months in Sugarland TX. always returning back to Osceola. Mary liked working on crossword puzzles. Mary especially liked listening to music by pop rock artist ADAM LEVINE this brought humor to her family. She had a special little friend a dachshund named Dutchess. Mary loved nothing better than talking about and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mary has six children they are Jerry Ragsdale IL, Rick (Lejuana)Ragsdale IN, Gill (Anita) Ragsdale IN, Kevin Ragsdale CA, Scott Ragsdale TX, Leslie Quarles of TX. She also is survived by sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mary has two sisters, Marilyn(Chet) Maring, IN and Ginell Tingle, IN. Visitation will be held Sunday March 22, 2015 from 2:00p.m. -4:00p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN 46561. A funeral service will be held Monday March 23, 2015 at 2:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN. 46561 with Mike Kramer officiating burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
