Mary "Linda' Shaw, 78, of Elkhart, passed away on April 17, 2019 surrounded by her family.  She was born on July 7, 1940 in Elkhart to Paul and Betty (Gripe) Jones.  Linda was a 1958 graduate of Elkhart High School and worked for Selmer Instruments until her retirement.  She enjoyed bowling, puzzles, and gardening.  Linda's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Linda is survived by her children, Lori Parsons of Goshen and Scott Shaw of Elkhart; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Paula Spratt.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Friends and family will be received on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 3-7 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561.  A funeral service in Linda's honor will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 10 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN  46507.
