OSCEOLA - Mary Elaine Watkins, 49, passed away with her loving family beside her after an unexpected illness on Friday, July 10th at Elkhart General Hospital.

Mary was born June 1, 1977, in South Bend to the late Robert and Carol Marie (Miller) Samuels. She was a graduate of Riley High School, Class of 1996. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert G. Samuels II. She was an employee of MSC Industrial supply in Elkhart, where she worked tirelessly in warehouse distribution.

She is survived and lovingly missed by her loving husband David Watkins, a daughter, Kaylee Watkins, her brother, William Samuels (Angela Bellinger), sister, Betsy Ann (Rex) Vogel, nieces and nephews; Gia Bellinger, James Vogel II, Victoria (Josh) Letherman, Louis (Darlene) Vogel, Allyssa (Cale) Lombardo, great nephew David Vogel, and a brother-in-law Ryan Watkins.

She was a follower of Christ and the Catholic faith. Her hobbies included shooting guns, camping, being outdoors and going to the car races. She was an avid bowler. Her workweek consisted of "always working to get to the weekend."

The family invites friends on Friday, July 24th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM all at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, IN. She will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony at a later date.
