Maryann Theresa (Krzyzaniak) Butterbaugh, 93 passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024. Maryann was born on September 5, 1931, to John and Mary (Sobkowski) in South Bend. She graduated from Washington High School. On June 16, 1951, she married Kenneth W. Butterbaugh and went on to have 5 children. Maryann worked in medical records at the South Bend Clinic and then Memorial Hospital. Maryann enjoyed nature, music, reading, games and watercolor painting.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings.

Maryann is survived by her children; Denise (Thom) Kinney, Kevin (Kathy) Butterbaugh, Laura (Phil) Woods, Derek (Leslie) Andrews, Neil (Dayna) Butterbaugh, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be October 28, 2024, at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 Ironwood Road, South Bend, 46635. Visitation will take place from 11am to 12pm. A funeral mass will immediately follow the visitation. Maryann will be laid to rest privately at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
