Maryann E. Lehman, age 83 of Elkhart, passed away at her home on Wed. Nov. 28, 2012. Maryann was born Sept. 15, 1929 in the Bronx, New York. On June 10, 1949, she married Carson Lehman. He preceded her in death, passing away Feb. 20, 2010.

Surviving are her sons, Ron Lehman and Don Lehman, both of Elkhart, 4 grandchildren; Brent, Scott, Brad and Amy Lehman, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving is her sister, Patricia Ruff of Elkhart. Preceding her in death were her parents, and several siblings.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Chapel Hill with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Maryann was employed in the Memorial High School cafeteria for several years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting and her cats. Maryann also taught Sunday School for many years at Northside Baptist Church, of which she was a longtime member.
