Maryann Miltenberger, 66, of Elkhart, passed away at 9:45 am, Monday, October 24, 2011 in Golden Living Center, Elkhart. Maryann was born on October 7, 1945 in South Bend, the daughter of the late Forest and Bernice (Stachoski) Ciesiolka. On July 3, 1976, she married Jerry Miltenberger.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of Elkhart, four children, Lori (Rocco) Debello of Hawthorne, FL, Pamela (Eric) Schell of Martinsville, IN, Jason Miltenberger of Elkhart and Jennifer (Gerald Dunfee) Miltenberger of Elkhart, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Joann Bell of South Bend, Patricia (Brence) Jackson of Michigan City, IN and Barbara (Tom) Gustafson of South Bend and a brother, Bobby (Joann) Ciesiolka of South Bend and longtime best friend, Billie Bunch of Osceola. She is preceded in death by a son, Darryl Steinbrunner, and two brothers, Jerry and Bert Ciesiolka.
Maryann has been a lifetime area resident, graduating from Washington High School. She was an avid dog handler, and belonged to the Michiana Kennel Klub, American Kennel Klub and Illinois Pekingese Club.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Burial of ashes will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
