SOUTH BEND - Maudie May Jordon, 70, of South Bend, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born in La Porte, Indiana to the late Ira and Betty (Ames) Sult on February 5, 1947. Maudie married Clarence Jordon Sr. December 29, 1967 and celebrated nearly 40 years together until his passing in April of 2004. She liked to crochet, play bingo, and enjoyed baking.
Maudie is survived by her son, Clarence R. Jordon, Jr. of Elkhart; daughter, Tonya (Adam) Rupert of South Bend; brother, Ira (Zora) Sult, Jr. of Elkhart; sister, Shirley (Keith) Borton of South Bend, and 4 grandchildren.
Services for Maudie will be 10:00 am, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola with Pastor Adam Sult to officiate. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
