Melvin Crawford, 62, of Mishawaka, passed away on May 3, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on July 17, 1956 in Augusta, Georgia to James and Rose (Brown) Crawford.  Melvin enjoyed Western movies, and listening to the bands play during parades.  He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Fort Wayne.  Melvin is survived by two brothers, Willie (Jessie) Crawford and James (Rose) Crawford; an Aunt; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jessie Harris; and two brothers, Johnny Harris and Leonard Harris.  A funeral service in Melvin's honor will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 2 PM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
