Meriadath E. Humphrey, 95, of Elkhart, died at 9:15 am, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Golden Living Center, Elkhart. Meriadath was born on June 12, 1919 in Washington Township, MO. On May 26, 1946, he married Alice Miller. She died on August 11, 2011. He is survived by five children, John F. (Susan) Humphrey of Oakridge, NC, Timothy M. (Carolyn) Humphrey of Kokomo, IN, Rebecca L. Humphrey of Loveland, CO, Karla M. Humphrey of Johnstown, CO, and Mark (Susan) Humphrey of Bristol, IN. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Bret Humphrey, Greta Compton, Josh Mullins and Tony Mullins and three great granddaughters, Anneliese, Mercedes, and Kendall and sister, Bernice Ellis of Florida. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, January 19, 2015 in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Geiser officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
